Job Summary :

St. Genevieve is currently seeking a full-time Early Childhood Academy Aide teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The school aide assists school personnel in a Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Chicago. The school aide is hired by and is directly accountable to the principal. The school aide agrees to abide by the established policies and procedures of the Archdiocese of Chicago, as well as the policies and procedures of the local school. The principal will determine the specific assignment of the school aide. The school aide cooperates with the principal and staff in providing an environment that promotes the ministry of Catholic education.

We are searching to find an educator that has good communication and listening skills, displays empathy and patience, and has a can-do attitude that sees the potential in every student to grow and learn.

This is a full-time position with full benefits.

Qualifications :

• High school graduate, GED or equivalent
• Skills Required : Supervisory skills; ability to work in a structured environment and follow directives as aligned with specific assignments, ability to carry material and climb stairs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, students, parents, staff, and administration

This position has an hourly range of $18.00. An employee's pay within the hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs
