American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring BLS, ACLS, and recent fetal monitoring certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital LDRPN (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, Nursery) unit
  • Care for laboring, postpartum, and nursery patients
  • 12-hour night shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15
  • Every other weekend required
  • Responsibilities include caring for mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process
  • Must provide two separate professional references
  • Covid vaccination is not required for this assignment
  • All positions are auto offer
  • Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to the facility's radius rule, which varies by state
  • Clinicians are encouraged to discuss possible contract extensions 45 days before assignment end date

    • Requirements

  • Active RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
  • Recent fetal monitoring certification required (AWHONN, Relias, or equivalent completed within the past 2 years if not on competency exam)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics
  • At least 1 year of recent labor and delivery experience
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Copy of driver’s license required
