Qualifications and requirements

Operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and CT equipment to produce images of internal organs for use by physicians in the diagnosis of disease. Provides service to patients throughout the life span, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology program.

Greater than three (3) years’ experience in Radiography, Operating Room, or one year experience in CT or MRI.

Ability to work in CT and one other modality, as needed.

New Hires : Current BLS required. Must become BLS certified within 90 days of hire. To maintain employment current CPR is required.

Must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT and licensed by the state of New Mexico as a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Additional certification in CT and / or MRI is preferred.

Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
