Event Valet Parking Attendant
Department : Valet Parking Operations
Reports Directly To : Guest Service Coordinator
Schedule : Temporary Part-Time / Thursday - Sunday (December 2025)
Status : Non-Exempt
Compensation : Base $7.00 - $10.00 per hour (Plus potential tips) (Rates can vary by market / Tips based on service performance and customer interactions)
Position Summary
As a Special Events Valet Attendant, you'll create a seamless first and last impression for guests attending weddings, galas, concerts, and private functions. You'll deliver professional, efficient, and friendly valet service while safely handling vehicles and ensuring an exceptional guest experience under dynamic, fast-paced conditions.
Primary Objective
Provide safe, organized, and hospitality-driven valet service at special events. Support smooth traffic flow, protect guest property, and represent Parking Management Company (PMC) with energy, teamwork, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience : Welcome every guest with a friendly attitude and assist with arrivals and departures to ensure a positive first impression.
Vehicle Operation : Safely and efficiently park, retrieve, and monitor vehicles following all PMC safety and key-handling procedures.
Event Readiness : Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and clearly marked valet area suitable for each event's layout and traffic pattern.
Adaptability : Work effectively in various environmentsfrom hotel ballrooms to outdoor venuesand adjust to changing event conditions.
Communication : Coordinate with event planners, hotel staff, or venue management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Professional Standards : Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and maintain a courteous, professional demeanor throughout the event.
Team Collaboration : Support teammates and supervisors with setup, breakdown, and other duties as needed to ensure event success.

Additional Compensation and Benefits :
Employee at Will : Employment with PMC is on an at-will basis, meaning either the employee or the employer may end the employment relationship at any time, for any reason, with or without cause or notice, in accordance with applicable laws. A 120-day introductory period applies.
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) : This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), meaning employees in this role is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek at a rate of one and one-half times their regular hourly rate. PMC adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local wage and overtime laws, ensuring that compensation complies with these legal standards. All hourly rates will meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements for your specific work location.
