Senior Salesforce Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with proven expertise in configuring and managing Salesforce environments.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Proficiency in Flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and user management.
• Ability to elicit and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and user feedback.
• Translate business needs into scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring key deliverables are met.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to self-direct workload based on urgency and impact.
• Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks or conflicts in timeline
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, including business process workflows, data flow diagrams, and solution architecture.
• Ensure proper documentation of configuration changes, release notes, and system enhancements.
• Adhere to university policies, industry best practices, and compliance standards for Salesforce administration.
• Ensure data quality, perform deduplication, and oversee data migrations.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
• Effective communicator, able to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical users.
• Comfortable presenting solutions and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field AND four (4) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Eight (8) years experience providing related information technology services, OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and / or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months of experience.
• Evidence of technical mastery of Advanced Salesforce Administrative Configuration (including Flows, Debugging, Profiles, Permissions and Sharing) and Data Architecture.
• Evidence of leading technical projects from requirements gathering to documentation of the solution built and deployed.
• Evidence of ability to skill up on Salesforce ecosystem products and integrations.
• Evidence of vendor AND stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Located in Phoenix Metro Area, must adhere to ASU in-office policies. (currently hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00 / hr.
