About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and outcome-focused Vice President, Head of Supply Chain to lead its global supply chain organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, including sourcing and procurement, sales and operations planning, materials management, manufacturing, quality, and logistics. This role is pivotal in ensuring scalability, cost optimization, quality, and time-to-market in a hyper-growth environment. The VP will drive the end-to-end supply chain strategy, oversee demand / supply alignment, lead global sourcing efforts, and optimize costs across the supply chain. Additionally, the role involves partnering with the Head of Hardware and Systems to drive hardware product roadmaps and development, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to execute a supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's product vision.

Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or related fields, with at least 10 years of experience in global supply chain, including a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position. Experience in hardware development and a deep understanding of supply chain processes are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing outsourced partners in high-tech hardware environments, particularly with a network and knowledge of Taiwanese design and manufacturing partners. Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and leadership skills are required, as is the ability to lead cross-cultural, cross-functional teams. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is a must, and the role may involve up to 40% travel, primarily to the U.S. and other supplier sites in Asia.
