Job Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Ultrasound Tech Breast Sonographer for an exciting job in Utica NY .

Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.

Prepare and position patients for procedures ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam.

Analyze and document diagnostic data accurately for radiologist interpretation.

Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure timely and accurate results.

Follow infection control and safety procedures in all imaging areas.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.

Requirements :

Education : Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program .

Certification : Active ARDMS certification required must be Breast (BR) certified.

Experience : Minimum 2 years of breast sonography experience required.

Certifications : Current BLS certification required.

Schedule : MondayFriday 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM.

Radius Rule : Candidates within 75 miles considered local and will receive a local rate .

Skills : Strong technical knowledge of breast imaging attention to detail patient communication and proficiency with imaging systems.
