General Anesthesiology opening - New Castle, PA Located 55m to PittsburghH1 Eligible Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Hospital Employed- Expanding team- Successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment- Supervising an experienced CRNA team- Very competitive compensation / benefits- Flexible schedule - talented medical director customizes the schedule to accommodate providers- Option to choose from 12-14 "comp weeks" off or additional income- Experienced CRNA team- SRNA rotations from University CRNA program- Strong, cohesive surgical team with excellent leadership- Occurrence Malpractice Coverage- CME / PTO Medical Center Details - Two community, teaching hospitals that work together as one mini-system to collaboratively provide care to residents of Mercer and Lawrence counties in western PA. - First Medical Center provides the higher acuity surgical services with 6 ORs, 2 Procedure Rooms and a 12-bed ICU as well as a full array of surgeons including orthopedics, urology, general, vascular, bariatrics, breast and robotics but excluding cardiothoracic, trauma, neurosurgery and OB / GYN. - Both facilities share an ACGME-accredited, general surgery residency program. - Second Medical Center is a smaller, lower acuity hospital with 6 ORs, a busy OB / GYN program (1,000 deliveries / yr) and a medical and radiation oncology service.
