Pay Information $3,058 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience License : State nursing license required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS in hand Must-Have : Must have strong CRRT skills Must include 2 supervisor references within 1 year and one from the most recent / current assignment in hand at submittal Must float to IMCU (stepdown) if needed Description : This position requires a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. The shift will be nights with a schedule of 4x12 hour shifts. The candidate must have a compact nursing license. Possession of BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification is required at the time of submission. The individual must demonstrate strong skills in continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). Two years of recent ICU experience is necessary for this role. The candidate must also be prepared to float to Intermediate Care Unit if needed. Clinical responsibilities include managing ventilated patients and administering emergency medications. This position may involve accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and performing phlebotomy. The Registered Nurse will be expected to handle various complexities, such as management of dysrhythmias and ventilator management. The ideal candidate will have experience with charting systems and be familiar with various medical equipment. The unit's patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics. Additional responsibilities may include collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
