ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Trauma for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

  • Work 36 or 48 hours per week with guaranteed hours

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 1 : 4-5

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement

    • \n

  • 2 years of nursing experience required

    • \n

  • Travel experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BCLS, BSN preferred, TNCC preferred

    • \n

  • Must pass Relias EKG exam for interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

    • \n

  • Will float within service line to meet facility needs

    • \n

  • No on-call requirements

    • \n

  • Navy blue scrubs required

    • \n

  • EPIC charting experience required

    • \n

  • 36 hours of orientation provided

    • \n

  • Care for adult and geriatric patients (ages 55+)

    • \n

  • Daily census of 50-55 patients across 63 beds in 31 rooms

    • \n

  • Preferred experience with trachs, wound care, dressings, wound vacs, tubes, drains, and chest tubes (NO drips)

    • \n

  • Work with special equipment including lifts, restraints, wound vacs, traction, and external fixators

    • \n

  • Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract with no RTO first week

    • \n

  • Attendance policy allows maximum 3 tardies and 2 call-ins per 13-week contract

    This major academic medical center is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center with 1,266 staffed beds. The facility specializes in trauma care including geriatric trauma, abuse / violence victims, motor vehicle accidents, falls, and acute care surgery cases such as appendicitis, gallbladder procedures, hernia repairs, and traumatic brain injuries. The hospital provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
