International Tax Manager

As the International Tax Manager a national business line role youll be responsible for the management and delivery of U.S. international tax services for clients across various industries and market segments. Youll collaborate closely with partners and managing directors while teaming with managers associates and other teammates from around the globe to help clients identify and solve complex business problems through deploying a wide range of Grant Thornton solutions in a collaborative manner ensuring quality above all because together is how we succeed.

Your day-to-day may include :

• Managing and monitoring multiple client services teams on client engagements; planning executing directing and completing international tax projects; providing innovative tax planning consulting and compliance expertise to clients; and managing engagements to budget
• Managing the delivery of a full range of international tax services and advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations as well as coordinating U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to assist in developing an efficient worldwide tax strategy
• Consulting with clients on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions effective use of tax treaties planning related to offshore investment activities and repatriation strategies to minimize U.S. and foreign income taxes
• Conducting primary and secondary review of complicated or complex international tax returns to ensure quality
• Working closely with partners managers and associates to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development
• Other duties as assigned
