Staff Accountant

POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and assisting with financial reporting and compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Incorporates the six principles of trauma informed care throughout all aspects of their work.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts as part of the month end closing process.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Responsible for accurate completion of monthly grant reporting.
• Compile data from financial systems to meet external reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Utilize data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Support management with ad hoc financial reports and analysis.
