Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a collaborative Physician Advisor to join our growing health network. The successful candidate will lead efforts to meet the organizations goals and objectives for assuring the effective and efficient utilization of health care services. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and possess strong organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement methods and develop care management protocols that optimize the use of hospital services for all patients while ensuring quality care is provided.
• Develop expertise on physician practice patterns, over and under-utilization of resources, medical necessity, levels of care, care progression, denial management, compliance with governmental and private payer regulations, appropriate physician coding and documentation requirements.

Qualifications

COMPENSATION :

Starting Base Salary : $216,675

Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.

Geographic Location : Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity : Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and / or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding : Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
