Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

Location : Cumming, GA 30041 (Georgia healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Labor & Delivery Unit

Contract Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : December 8, 2025

End Date : March 7, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am), 3 shifts / week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,590 - $1,640

Holiday Coverage : Must work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia RN license preferred)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Fetal Heart Monitoring certification

AWOHNN certification

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Cumming, GA

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate and skilled care to laboring mothers and newborns

Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs in a clinical setting

Assist with deliveries and provide support to obstetric and healthcare teams

Administer medications and IVs as required

Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care

Accurately document all patient care activities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
