Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity during patrols within the tech, media, and telecom environment. Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff, offering assistance as needed while upholding security-related standards. Assist with access control measures and verify identification for individuals entering restricted areas. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Media Facility Patrol - Full Time
As a Security Officer - Media Facility Patrol - Full Time in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.
