Description

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts within assigned authorityfrom acquisition planning through contract closeout. This position plays a key role in supporting procurement activities to ensure compliance fairness and efficiency in all contracting actions.

Core responsibilities include developing solicitation documents participating in the source selection process preparing and awarding contracts and administering post-award activities such as contract modifications ordering and closeout. The Contracts Administrator applies working knowledge of professional services fixed-price cost-reimbursable supply and construction contracts ensuring all transactions adhere to applicable regulations and organizational standards.

This role requires strong communication analytical and negotiation skills to effectively coordinate with internal stakeholders vendors and contractors. The ability to compile and interpret data resolve issues and recommend practical solutions is essential for maintaining contract integrity and supporting overall operational success.

Requirements

Education / Experience

Bachelors Degree in Business Accounting Finance or a related field.

Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in developing and administering complex awards.
