Description

Summary : Installs fixed radio, BDA / DAS and wireless communications equipment consistent with manufacturer and company guidelines to include antenna and coax networks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Installs cable and antenna consistent with project requirements and according to installation and safety standards. May also deconstruct installation sites as required.
• Manages inventory and assembles parts prior to installation work to ensure correct parts are available.
• Works with system engineer and technical staff to optimize site following installation to ensure system or equipment function properly.
• Completes job tickets, sales orders, and other required work documents.
• Maintains positive customer relations.
• Communicate with internal personnel, outside service personnel, equipment vendors and other agencies to coordinate and provide information pertaining to service requests, work orders, and equipment evaluations.
• Perform related telecommunication duties commensurate with classification level.
