Infosys is seeking a
Segment Lead- Communications, Media & Telecom . As part of Infosys’ Strategic Technology Group, you will be responsible for taking to the market and growing next-generation technology consulting services. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop GTM (go-to-market) strategies and position our technology consulting services to leading global organizations worldwide. You will be responsible for GTM strategies for technology consulting services in AI, Cloud, Digital, EA (Enterprise Architecture), Resilient IT, and Security within the Communication and Media Segment at Infosys. Your role includes demand generation, revenue growth, and providing market and client insights to create relevant solutions, tools, and platforms for the communication and media domain. You will guide teams to develop thought leadership content and network with IT and Business Leaders such as CTOs and CDOs. The role requires a blend of business acumen, technology experience, and entrepreneurial spirit. Required Qualifications
Located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC; Richardson, TX; or Phoenix, AZ, with willingness to relocate. Travel within the US may be required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; three years of progressive experience in the specialty can substitute for education. Minimum 18 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Technology Consulting in areas like Digital, Cloud, AI, EA, or Security. Experience and understanding of communication and media domain, business capabilities, processes, standards, and technologies. Experience in software development, architecture, and design of large enterprise systems, along with strategic planning and transformation initiatives. Broad knowledge across SDLC, UX, architecture, data, analytics, AI, ML, multi-cloud scenarios, security, APIs, microservices, and open-source tech. Excellent communication skills to interact with CxOs, management, developers, and non-IT stakeholders. Proven success in leading digital, cloud, data, or AI transformation programs with tangible outcomes. Ability to work in cross-cultural, global teams, supporting multiple time zones. Experience leading a service line with P&L responsibility in consulting or tech outsourcing firms. Certifications in cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), data, analytics, AI, or enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) are preferred. This role involves extended computer work, communication via phone, email, or face-to-face, and potential travel as required. About Us
