Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,617 per week in Mission Hills, CA

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years in ICU License : Valid State License Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, LA Fire Card required Must-Have : Strong neuro experience Description : Strong neurology experience is required. Experience in cardiovascular, multi-trauma, gunshot wounds, stroke, and STEMI center cases is essential. Familiarity with managing motor vehicle accidents and orthopedic cases is also important. This unit includes overflow beds and functions as a Level 2 Trauma and Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center. Candidates will manage a high acuity neuro population, STEMI receiving, CABG, valve procedures, IABP, CRRT, sepsis, and surgical cases. Responsibilities include caring for ventilated patients and administering blood products. Candidates will work with both ICU and PCU overflow and must float between units as needed. Strong patient care skills are necessary, with a focus on a friendly, fast-paced environment. Travel experience is required. All travelers must comply with facility policies and be prepared to float if needed.
