Role Overview

We are seeking a Pharmacy Prior Authorization Specialist to join our Prior Authorization team and deliver exceptional service to patients and partners. This is a fully onsite role in Robinson Township, Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities

• Initiate new prior authorization requests with providers
• Identify correct prior authorization forms for patient insurance
• Coordinate with prescribers and medical offices to complete forms
• Follow up on prior authorization status with medical offices
• Communicate updates to patients and providers
• Handle appeals and respond to internal inquiries related to prior authorizations
