PT Occupational Therapist (.50 FTE) - District Wide

The School District of Milton seeking applicants for a Part-time Occupational Therapist (.50 FTE) position to work throughout the district.

This position begins as soon as possible, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $30,300 for a (.50 FTE) 190-day contract, available to candidates with a Master's degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior public education teaching experience and further education beyond a master's degree. An annual hard-to-fill stipend in the amount of $1,750 will be included with the salary offer. The School District of Milton's comprehensive benefits package further enhances this offering.

Qualifications :

The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who will engage students in the learning process. Candidates should be organized, flexible, and have strong communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to : evaluate the occupational performance components of a student who has been referred for an evaluation as well as assist in creating an individualized intervention plan for the educational setting; be involved in reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of the occupational therapy program; work collaboratively with colleagues as a positive and substantial contributor to the school and district; assume a leadership role in the implementation of district initiatives and special education service delivery.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for WI DPI Certification in School Occupational Therapy - O051.
