Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit to provide care to a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Caring for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program .High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, alongside medical overflow cases .This role provides exposure to innovative neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care as part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) .

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Education and Experience :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Holistic approach to patient care and ability to recognize situational changes.Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop rapport and maintain professional relationships with patients and team members.Critical decision-making ability and excellent organizational skills.Demonstrated time management skills with multi-tasking capability.Vital coordination and team-building skills.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
