This individual excels in the use of standard project development methodologies in the delivery of projects. This role will serve as a mentor and steward of standard project methodology practices within the IT

Senior IT Project Manager works closely with the business project managers, project owners and IT stakeholders to deliver projects on time, in budget and to specifications. The IT Project Manager has experience with projects across a broad range of application and technology service

as IT Project Manager delivering agreed to business case outcomes for IT enabled projectsDefines and analyzes requirements; develops / maintains project plans and documentation; manages project budget, capital and expenses; manages quality through acceptance testing; and leads post project retrospectives.Works in collaboration with business partners to design, develop and implement the required IT enablement to meet business requirementsDirects, organizes, and leads projects utilizing standard methodologies, including agile and waterfall stage gateAs a methodology champion, mentors and coaches IT employees in the use of standard project methodology practices and project management best practiceCoordinates IT and business resources to successfully execute projectsProvides updates and facilitates key decision making with executive stakeholders and the project steering committeeManages IT resource plans for projects, including internal and external resourcesManages project timeline, dependencies, and resources in coordination with global IT teams and business teamsDevelops project plans, execution plans, and cutover plans to ensure benefits are realizedDevelops and monitors metrics and KPIs to track progress against targetsManages project scope and change control processesManages and mitigates IT project issue and risksEnsures the design and proactive monitoring of compliance and controls in IT solutionsContributes to an environment of continuous improvement of IT processesTravel : less than 10%Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Education : Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, project management, or a related field.Experience : Seven to ten years of project management experience. Minimum of eight years of information technology or related experience in various technical and analytical positions with increasing responsibility. Experience managing SAP / ERP, Manufacturing and / or IT services and infrastructure projects desired.Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project; Visio and Smartsheets are a plus.Soft Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Certifications : PMP, Scrum or similar certification preferred.COMPETENCIES : Demonstrated team leadership and project management skillsExceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilitiesComprehensive background in IT concepts, terminology and large systems integrationWorking knowledge of process manufacturing systems applicationsStrong interpersonal / customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively at all levels within an organizationSuperb communication, presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to influenceStrong multi-tasking, time management and organizational capabilitiesResults-oriented and able to work under inflexible deadlinesGood decision-making skills - analysis, decisiveness, innovation, and judgmentAbility to identify methods to improve overall project management effectiveness and efficiencyPositive attitude, motivated, adaptable, and focusedExcellent English language skills, including the ability to clearly express complex issues through effective verbal and written communicationWORKING CONDITIONS : Environment : This position is located onsiteHours : Full-time, Monday to Friday
