About the job Remote Staff Accountant
A rapidly growing Private Equity-backed company with over $200M in revenue is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate finance team. With a national footprint built through strategic acquisitions, the company offers a high-growth environment, modern tools, and a team-first culture.
This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, who is based in the Northeast. The company offers a flexible, results-driven work environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with month-end close processes, journal entries, and financial schedules
- Reconcile weekly bank activity and support proper coding of transactions
- Maintain fixed asset records and track capital expenditures
- Support payroll entries, accruals, and reconciliation efforts
- Prepare audit schedules and assist with internal control documentation
- Generate financial reports and support ad hoc analysis
