Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support the delivery of physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA will assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and restore physical function following injury, illness, or surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and use of assistive devices.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist.
• Provide feedback to adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.
• Comply with all regulatory and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support overall patient care.
