Job Title : Tooling Repair Technician needed in Mebane NC

Roles and Responsibilities :

As a Tooling Repair Technician, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by :

Pull and set Molds, dissemble molds, plates, cores ejector, lifters, slides, hot runner, heat manifolds.

Prepare molds for storage with correct projections and tags

Must have plastic injection molding experience

Must have hot runner experience in an injection mold machine

Must have excellent documentation of work and clean workspace

Performing routine inspections, repairs, and modifications to existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Troubleshooting tooling issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Maintaining detailed records of tooling usage, maintenance activities, and performance metrics.

Assisting in the development and execution of tooling strategies to enhance productivity and quality.

Contributing to a culture of safety and compliance by adhering to all operational guidelines and best practices.

Experience Level :

Preferred experience level is 2 or more years in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Desired Skills :

We seek individuals who exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. You should possess :

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

A solid understanding of machining processes and materials.

Experience with hand tools, measurement instruments, and precision machining equipment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various departments.

A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
