Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting a variety of metal and industrial surfaces using both airless and compressed air spray guns . This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers as needed.

Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using airless or compressed air spray equipment to achieve uniform coverage and quality finishes.

Mix and adjust paint to match required color and viscosity specifications.

Inspect finished surfaces to ensure proper thickness, adhesion, and overall appearance.

Maintain and clean spray guns, hoses, and other painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations when handling paint materials and equipment.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production and quality goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an industrial or automotive painter.

Proven ability to operate airless and compressed air spray systems .

Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and surface preparation techniques.

Ability to use thickness gauges and other inspection tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.

Familiarity with epoxy, polyurethane, or powder coating systems.

Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
