Sr. Cisco Network Engineer / Architect

Description :

We are seeking a Principal Network Architect to join our Cloud Service Provider team supporting a government customer. This role involves designing and implementing advanced network infrastructure solutions across core systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise environments. The position is based at the Emerson complex, Monday through Friday from 08 : 00 to 16 : 00 (flexible hours). Candidates located in San Antonio, TX or Fort Gordon, GA will also be considered. Occasional travel to extended enterprise sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and deliver network infrastructure solutions including IP routing, switching, traffic engineering (QoS), firewalls, access controls, and bandwidth services.
• Design and support enterprise computing infrastructure for both on-premises and distributed cloud systems.
• Recommend strategic architectural direction and develop solution roadmaps, standards, templates, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network anomalies, including collaboration with Cisco for advanced issue resolution.
• Provide expert-level guidance and solutions to complex systems problems with minimal supervision.
• Lead initiatives independently and proactively contribute to team and customer success.
