Business Analytics Lead Analyst

Cigna is seeking a highly motivated and innovative team member to join our analytics team. In this role, you will lead contractors and attorneys through the internal provider settlement process and partner closely with the settlement team. Responsibilities include managing the settlement team mailbox, setting up settlement meetings, maintaining database inventory of settlements, reporting on settlement activity, entering payments into payment system, reviewing and summarizing financial analysis on potential settlements, leading the client chargeback process, responding to external financial audits, and collaborating with attorneys and contractors in preparation for quarterly reserve reviews and reporting.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience, 3+ years of experience in finance, business analysis or health care / managed care, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and documentation abilities, understanding of managed care business processes, data, systems, and claim payments, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access). VLOOKUPS and pivot tables required, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download / 5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $77,300 - $128,800, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
