The APP-Adult Acute provides healthcare to adult patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance, and supportive care. The APP-Adult Acute works independently, as well as collaboratively, to diagnose, prescribe treatment, manage, and evaluate patient care. The APP-Adult Acute functions as an educator, healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant and

patient advocate.

Johnson Memorial Health (JMH) is county-owned and has served the citizens of Johnson County immediately south of Indianapolis since 1947. With 125 staffed beds the hospital has a number of specialty programs. Among them are a comprehensive cancer services, breast center, peripheral vascular lab, Interventional radiology, cardiovascular testing center, sleep center, wound care center, diabetes care program, acute rehabilitation center, spine surgery, orthopedic and sports medicine services, ENT services, critical and progressive care units, and a renal dialysis service on the JMH campus.

A year ago, Johnson Memorial Health became a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network - a select group of carefully vetted, independent healthcare organizations with special access to Mayo Clinic knowledge, resources, and expertise. Patients continue to benefit from Mayo Clinic and care network members working together to provide patients with the care they need, close to home, at no additional cost and with added peace of mind.

The hospital completed a $12.5 million expansion and modernization of the surgery unit in 2012. In 2024, JMH will open a 29-bed inpatient behavior health hospital on the campus.
