Here are a few quick details about the position :

Title : Med surg RN
Location : Meridian, ID
Facility Type : St. Lukes Meridian Medical Center
Schedule : 3x12s nights
Compensation : $2,214 per week
Start Date : 6 / 16 / 25

Department : MedSurg | RN

Unit : MedSurg - 6th Floor

of Beds : 42

Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 5 occasional 1 : 6-very rarely happens

Required certifications : BLS

Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Primarily a Medical floor with a little surgical overflow. Respiratory, GI, anything medical that

you wouldn't do surgery on, behavioral health- if pts been in ER for more than 1 day will room up here to work on d / c plan.

Experience or 'Must have' skills : Must have 2 years of MedSurg experience. Must have EPIC experience. Must be able to read and

interpret tele. Must be willing to take students, may be precept new travelers- please note on interview they are willing.

Are RNs required to titrate drips : no

Common titratable & / or set rate drips : heparin, PCAs, morphine drips.

Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift : Charge Nurse on each shift- very rarely takes patients but will if there is a need. Day shift also

has an ADT nurse that helps with admits, discharges, and tasking.

Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit : Yes- 1 : 8.
