Forklift Operator

The chosen candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the facility, with the opportunity to be cross-trained on all processes. This role involves wearing multiple hats to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Responsibilities :

• Lift and handle up to 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
• Break down raw materials.
• Fill sacks and stack them on pallets for the forklift operator.
• Move pallets of material from one location to another within the facility.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and potentially front-end loaders.

Work Environment :

This role is based in a non-climate-controlled facility, which can be dusty on the shop floor. The position may require some outdoor work as well. The standard shift is from 6 AM to 2 : 30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Porte, IN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
