Their core duties include organizing, analyzing, coding, and maintaining patient medical records in both manual and digital formats, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. MRTs do not provide direct patient care but are crucial for smooth healthcare operations by ensuring records are complete, confidential, and readily available to providers.
