Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a high-acuity Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT-R and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a large, high-volume radiology department of a Level I Trauma and Level 1 Pediatric Trauma teaching hospitalThe average daily patient volume is 350-400, including adults and pediatrics from the ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient settingsEquipment used includes Shimadzu RadSpeed general rad rooms, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, and GE and Siemens R / F roomsEPIC EMR system is utilized in the department12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PMAll weekends position with expectation to work 75% of holidays, unless approved off in advanceCall responsibilities are shared fairly among all teammates on a rotational basisNo floating requiredDuties include performing a wide spectrum of radiology exams for diverse patient populationsTeam support structure includes lead techs, modality supervisors, and an Imaging ManagerDiverse team composed of both new graduates and experienced staffFive days of departmental orientation provided, with flexibility based on needScrub color for technologists is blackFree parking is available for staffCollaborative and supportive team culture focused on clinical excellenceRequirements
Active ARRT-R and BLS requiredMinimum of 1 year recent core experience in radiologyAbility to work confidently in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environmentStrong clinical skills and effective communication requiredProficiency in EPIC EMR and with department-specific imaging equipment preferredLicense required if applicableBenefits
