M / S Neuro RN - 12hr nights - ThedaCare Neenah - Neenah, WI

Contract length : 13 weeks

Start Date : ASAP

Guaranteed Hours Per Week : 36

Primary location : ThedaCare Neenah

Shift Requirements : 12hr NOCs

Shift time : 1730-0600 (nocs)

Weekend : Every other weekend

Holidays : Holiday rotation (depending on need of the unit)

Float Requirements : Throughout facility within skillset, To all ThedaCare Facilities within a 60 mile radius

On Call / Call Back Requirements : None

Required certifications : WI RN (or compact) License, AHA BLS & NIHSS

Minimum Experience Required : 3+ years experience as an RN & 1 travel contract REQUIRED

Charting Experience : EPIC within the last year (Strongly preferred)

Desired Skillset : Experience in stroke and post-op back / spine / cervical

Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates

Scrub Colors : Black

Primary Cases : Stroke, post op spinal surgeries / brain surgeries

Unit Overview : 16 bed unit; Neurology patients; mostly post stroke patients and post-op patients from brain / neck / spine surgeries. Many of our patients are post trauma patients and TBI. We do have medical patients at times as well.

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 - We typically have between 4-5 RNs on during the shift and 2 patient care technicians.

Previous travel experience required.
