Job Title : Occupational Therapist

Experience : Minimum 1 year required. First-timers accepted.

Certifications : BLS, NBCOT required
Must-Have :
Acute Care experience
Adaptive Equipment skills
Pre-Discharge Planning experience
Professional skills in lifting and transferring patients
Patient and Family Education experience
Safety and injury prevention knowledge
Excellent documentation skills in assessment, discharge, evaluation, and plan of care
Description :
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist will manage a caseload of 50-60 patients daily.
This role involves working one weekend per month.
Candidates must be able to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
The position requires updated certifications including BLS and NBCOT.
Previous experience in acute care settings is required.
Knowledge in adaptive equipment and discharge planning is essential.
The therapist will engage in patient education and safety protocols.
Documentation of care and patient progress is a critical responsibility.
This position supports a diverse patient demographic including adults and geriatrics.
The work environment involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
Proficiency in charting systems is necessary for effective patient management.
