DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be responsible for providing professional counseling services and casework management to inmates at SCI Fayette. Your work will involve conducting individual counseling and assisting inmates in obtaining information regarding employment opportunities and community resources. You will develop, maintain, and present records and reports for managing an inmate caseload. Some of your duties will include analyzing interest and aptitude tests, determining recommended programming, and utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment objectives. Additionally, you will participate in parole planning and make recommendations on re-entry services.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
• Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary : Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $55,436.00 (before taxes).
