Job descriptionAssist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and maintained in accordance with court rules. Conduct legal research to support case strategies and assist in preparing trial materials. Coordinate the discovery process, including document production, review, and analysis. Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and other materials for court hearings, depositions, and trials. Assist with preparing and filing court documents electronically, ensuring adherence to filing deadlines and local rules. Communicate with clients, experts, witnesses, and court personnel to schedule meetings, depositions, and other events. Track case deadlines and manage case calendars to ensure compliance with statutes of limitations and court deadlines. Provide support in trial preparation, including attending trials and taking notes as necessary. Ensure all work is performed with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in wage and hour class action matters Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and court rules. Proficient in using legal research tools, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Litigation Paralegal Position Overview : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting litigation attorneys through all phases of case preparation and management, from pre-litigation to post-trial. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment while gaining exposure to complex legal matters.
