Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Lockport, IL 60441
Hire Type: CONTRACT-TO-HIRE

Pay Range: $23-$28/hr
Job Summary:
- Solder SMT and/or through hole components to boards.
- Perform basic and/or advanced, standardized and repetitive electro-mechanical assembly including box builds.
- Perform Wire/Cable/Harness assembly.
- Inspect Electrical and/or Mechanical assemblies, Chassis, Cables, Harnesses for defects.
- May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire, stripping, wiring and fastening connections, pulling kits.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED and/or technical diploma and 3+ years’ equivalent assembly experience and/or military technical training.Must be able to read and understand work instructions, schematics, bills of material, diagrams, and engineering change orders.
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
- Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
- Must possess solid judgement and decision-making skills.
- Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.
- Ability to work well with others and must be a conscientious and cooperative team player.
- Ability to meet quality expectations and follow safety guidelines.
