Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist II / III IT is responsible for coordinating the sourcing purchasing and contract management of technology products and services. This role focuses on ensuring competitive pricing timely delivery and compliance with company policies while supporting IT and business teams in meeting operational and project needs. Operating under the BIW Business Operating System (BOS) the Supply Chain Specialist II / III IT ensures compliance with safety quality and performance standards while coordinating with other key stakeholders to meet overall milestones.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Safety Leadership :

Actively participate in safety initiatives and lead by example.

Coordinate procurement and contracts activities with project managers legal counsel vendors and key agency stakeholders to ensure projects are defined documented completed on time on budget and meet stakeholder requirements

Be a continuous and active learner.

Assist and participate in cross departmental communications and information sharing to support organizational alignment.

Monitor and assess supplier performance and initiates corrective action when supplier performance does not meet contractual obligations or company expectations.
