WellSpan Health is seeking a board certified / board eligible Neurosurgeon for the region's only accredited Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center at WellSpan York Hospital in south central Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity to be part of a premier team, an established practice with strong leadership support. WellSpan Health is a 9-hospital system that includes a multispecialty group of more than 2,700 providers.
Position Highlights :
Walk into a busy, established practice of 8 neurosurgeons and a neurovascular surgeon
We have a strong Spine program, with nurse navigators and certifications
Interest in Trauma, Spine, Skull base and tumors, CSF shunts / NPH / Chiari, etc. supported
Excellent support from 9 inpatient APPs doing 24 / 7 coverage and 11 outpatient APPs
State of the art equipment in a 600+ bed acute care hospital
Building an 8-floor surgical tower with 22 Neuro ICU beds at WellSpan York Hospital
Opportunity to teach : 10 residency programs and 6 fellowship programs.
