Join our Operational Key Account Team at Kuehne + Nagel and play a pivotal role in driving Operational Excellence and Process Improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. As an Air Logistics Operational Key Account Manager, you’ll be the bridge between our customers and operations, ensuring we deliver on our Customer Promise every day.

How you create impact

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement and trust-building.
  • Clarify, negotiate, and formalize operational requirements with customers.
  • Design and implement customer-specific solutions to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our service offerings to support new business.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for new business implementations and joint projects.
  • Identify operational risks and communicate them effectively across teams.
  • Represent customer needs within the broader Kuehne + Nagel operational organization.
  • Create and maintain Master Operating Procedures (MOPs) and support local SOPs.
  • Support system setup and process automation initiatives.
  • Define and negotiate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with stakeholders.
  • Develop reports to monitor performance and analyze root causes of non-performance.
  • Present data and insights during global Business Reviews and assist in preparation.

What we would like you to bring

  • 4+ years of Air / Aerospace Logistics operations, systems, and process improvement experience.
  • 2+ years experience in a customer facing role.
  • Experience leading cross functional projects.
  • Project management certifications like PMP or Kaizen beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
