Plumbing Designer

Requirements / Expectations

3+ years’ design and coordination experience

Revit / Navisworks Manage (knowledge of work-sharing, coordination, and modeling)

AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Fabrication CADMEP, Trimble VDC Pro+

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Document Management tools : Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, ACC

Field experience preferred. Knowledge of fabrication methods and processes preferred.

Responsibilities

Able to modify documents per Project Manager / Estimators and Fab shop personal markups.

Ability to export to DWG and other formats for collaboration.

Sketches or models rough layout and computes angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, clearances, tolerances, leverages, and location of holes.

Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.

Follow Revit standards and procedures.

Participate in Revit / Fabrication / coordination meetings.

Assist during project setup.

Create Spool drawings and coordination documents.

Lean Construction or Manufacturing understanding.

Experience in the construction industry.
