Corning's Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays ("LCDs") that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Job Summary :

Operational execution of key daily tasks associated with shipping and receiving : ensure incoming deliveries are receipted in properly and put away; maintain proper raw material replenishment levels in PSAs; perform system transactions for cables from Final QC; cut, package & store cables; load flatbed trucks for customer shipments; safe forklift operation.

Duties & Essential Job Functions :

• Expected to have full understanding of department and company procedures and policies.
• Conduct safety walks within warehouse and throughout plant.
• Effectively / professionally convey information internally and externally.
• Wear proper PPE at all times in required areas.
• Maintain compliance to training record requirements.
• Promote Corning in a positive manner and lead by example.
• Active good housekeeping and strict adherence to specific safety regulations and practices in day-to-day work.
• Prepare necessary paperwork for finished goods cables including processing of cuts.
• Effective, timely and accurate execution of outbound shipments with CLS designated carriers with the aim to improve efficiency in the warehouse, reduce transportation costs and meet customer requirements.
• Ensure data integrity.
• Work interactively with Stakeholders to ensure inventory and shipping accuracy, minimize shipping backlog and meet customers' requirements.
• Aid team members in SAP troubleshooting / training.
• Responsible for ensuring charging of forklifts and other battery powered items.
• Self-starter in areas of Kaizen & 5S.

The range for this position is $21.50 hourly rate - $26.25 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
