DIVISION CHIEF of PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Mobile, Alabama

The Medicus Firm has partnered with USA Health in sunny Mobile, Alabama (yes, where winter coats are optional), looking for a visionary, collaborative, and academically driven physician to serve as the nextDivision Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicineat the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine.

In this role, youll get to :

  • Lead a state-of-the-art 26-bed ED at the regions

only pediatric acute care facility

  • Shape the future of pediatric emergency medicine with innovation, research, and a strong cup of coffee
  • Recruit and mentor the next generation of PEM rockstars
  • Collaborate across specialties to deliver world-class care to Mobiles kids and their families
  • Build a brand-new PEM fellowshipbecause who doesnt love launching something great?

    • Qualifications

  • MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Eligibility to obtain medical licensure in Alabama.
  • Academic rank preference of Associate or Full Professor at the University of South Alabama.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
