Requirements :

Registered Nurse license for the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Maintain annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications.
