About The Position

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Patient ratio experience of 4-6
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Travel experience required

Description :

This position involves caring for post-surgical, medical, and stepdown patients on inpatient units and in the emergency department as hold patients.

Nurses will be part of a float pool and are expected to float throughout the facility, including the emergency department.

Every other weekend coverage is required.

No call is required for this position.

The nurse-patient ratio is 6 : 1 during day and night shifts.

Full compliance with credentialing requirements is required to start on time.

If not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back up to two weeks due to the orientation schedule.

If one or two major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work those holidays.

If three major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.

Two supervisory references preferred at the time of submission, and references must be in a managerial role or above.
