The Lead Registered Nurse (RN) Stem Cell & Apheresis is responsible and accountable for coordinating safe, patient-centered nursing care, allocating staffing resources appropriately, and managing nursing resources to support optimum patient outcomes. The Lead RN plans, directs and evaluates day-to-day nursing care with respect to leader, personnel, and patient needs. They monitor and educate the nursing staff as appropriate and act as a mentor, coach, and clinical resource to clinical staff. The Lead RN supports and participates in the principles of shared governance and is accountable for practicing within the defined scope of practice for the Registered Nurse. The Lead RN will serve as the Stem Cell Infusion Department Liaison between staff and leadership as appropriate and share items of concern with manager for follow-up. May perform some administrative functions related to timekeeping to support operational needs of the department and manager.

Qualifications
Your qualifications should include :
3 years oncology experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or as approved by CAHCTI Leadership
Arizona Registered Nurse License or a Registered Nurse License form a Compact State
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association
