About the Role

We are seeking a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to join a healthcare team providing podiatric care across nursing homes, assisted-living centers, and long-term care facilities. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about improving patient outcomes in senior care settings while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments of foot and ankle conditions.
• Provide routine care such as nail trimming, callus removal, and wound management.
• Diagnose and treat podiatric issues including infections, ulcers, and deformities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for residents.
• Collaborate closely with facility staff and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper foot care and preventive practices.
• Accurately document care using EMR systems and maintain compliance with state standards.
• Travel between assigned facilities within Illinois or Florida, depending on assignment.
