Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - $2,362 per week in Sacramento, CA

Description : Profile will go directly to the unit for consideration. Need two supervisory references at submission; one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years worked. Roughly 9-11 patients are treated per day, averaging 10 patients. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. No rehab aides or occupational therapy assistants are present in the clinic. Two physical therapist assistants are available in the clinic. No weekend requirement. Holidays : Clinic will be closed on half-day Christmas Eve, all day Christmas Day, all day the day after Christmas, half-day New Year's Eve, and all day New Year's Day. Currently open the day after New Year's but that might change. Professional attire is required, with no specific color. Pharmacy available 24 / 7. Shifts are Monday through Friday for 8-hour days. Floor-specific orientation is required for 1-2 days. Common diagnoses / types of patients include orthopedic issues, total joint replacements, vestibular disorders, neurological conditions, and balance difficulties. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment and three shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks. Charting is done using Cerner. BSN is not required. Care setting is post-acute. The division is allied health. Shift notes indicate weekday hours only. Required certifications include BLS.
